What was the highlight of Hotel Sol Arona Tenerife
This 3 star hotel was very pleasant, comfortable and only 7 minutes to the beach front promenade. Be prepared to pay for
Reception area was very pleasant and staff very efficient and friendly. Outdoor pool area was very spacious and inviting. Pool bar and snack area very comfortable. Buffet hall was very clean, well staffed and well stocked with an excellent selection of hot and cold food. Lifts very efficient and no waiting time even though I was going all the way to the 15th floor! Bed room was good size with a separate large bathroom and balcony with side sea view. Bed was very comfortable. Room cleaned daily with change of towels etc.
Had to pay a deposit for a pool towel and a daily charge for a fresh towel. Balcony door lock was damaged and not usable. A separate door chain installed was too long and not safe or secure too use. I had no choice but to pay an extra daily charge for the room safety box.

Ok but Expensive for the quality offered.
From reception to cleaning to clean staff was great thank you! Locations is also great Our room was above reception but good side was there was a terace we can use Included Breakfast was good, much better than paid breakfast at los cristianos beach has nearby. Parking spot for our rented car was great.
Bed was too small for two people and it was hard for my taste, you could feel bed springs on your body in the morning. No electric sockets in the room that was very weird, Only single one that tv was using. had to deposit money at reception to get an extension cable, never seen this ever they need to fix this. There is safe in the room but its not usable until you pay extra 20 euro, that also seemed bit weird should be included in price for sure. No fridge in the room so thats a big negative considering this place is always warm throughout the year so yeah you can forget about cold water/beverage in the room. Considering these negative parts i believe the room was worth 60% the price we paid.
